Jason and Paige met while working on The Agency during its second season. Jason joined the cast as A.B. Stiles, an ex-Marine brought in to replace the character of Matt Callan. During their first scene together, Jason threw a theatrical punch and Paige forgot to duck.
In an interview on tvguide.com regarding their first scene together on The Agency, Jason commented, "I actually accidentally punched her in our first fight scene on The Agency - broke the skin over her eye, requiring stitches - and I felt so bad about it. That's when I started realizing I had feelings for her. Maybe she likes that kind of treatment better, because we ended up getting married and now have a 2-year-old son! She doesn't respond so much to the roses." [Laughs]
Jason and Paige were married September 19, 2003, at St. John's Church in Old Saybrook, Connecticut. They have one son, David, who was named after Paige's father.
Life on Mars
Life on Mars has been given a 13 episode order by ABC, and the series will premiere in the fall of 2008 on Thursday at 10e/9c following
Grey's Anatomy.

Jason and Paige have more than just acting in common, but acting wasn't the first choice for either one of them. Paige wanted to be a classical ballerina, but she broke her foot while rehearsing, which ended her dancing career. Jason was an avid rugby player until he suffered an injury and was sidelined. While recovering, he tried out for a school play and the rest is history.
Jason and Paige's wedding song was Nat King Cole's "Orange Colored Sky" because of their first scene together on The Agency. The song contains the lines, "I was walking along minding my business/When love came and hit me in the eye/Flash! Bam! Alakazam!/Out of an orange-colored sky."
Jason and Paige have an apartment in New York City on the Upper West Side as well as a house on the Connecticut shore. They also visit Jason's home in Ireland regularly.
Taking Chance
Paige co-stars with Kevin Bacon in the role of Stacey Strobyl in a film for HBO, Taking Chance. Release has been tentatively scheduled for 2008.

This series was not renewed for ABC's 2008-2009 schedule.
The Stepfather
Paige has been cast as a friend of Susan, who will be played by Sela Ward. The film is currently in production and scheduled to be released on October 16, 2009.

O'Mara was fortunate when CBS cast him in the slick thriller "The Agency." Not only was it a meaty role, he met the love of his life in costar Paige Turco.
It was a critical event, he muses. "Meeting my wife and falling deeply in love at first sight and getting married and having my boy - I realized this is REALLY what life is about. And it takes pressure off as an actor as well because it's not really about me anymore. And I want to be present for my wife and son, want to be around. I think that's what parenting is about, showing up and being there and listening," he says.
"So that put everything in perspective. And what I thought were more responsibility, more things that I thought could hold me back perhaps, things started to take off from there. My wife thought that after being pregnant and having a baby her career would be over, and her career just went from strength to strength as soon as David (now 4) was born she started working and has done great movies and TV since. It's sometimes the opposite of what you expect, especially when you put family first."
