Paige's Biography
Born Jean Paige Turco on May 17, 1965. Her parents are Joyce and David Turco. Paige grew up in Springfield, Ma. She live with her mother and grandparents after her father died when she was just nine months old of a cerebral hemorrhage, he was 27 years old.
Paige loved to dance and performed with the New England Dance Company, the Amherst Ballet Theater Company and the Western Massachusetts Ballet Company. When Paige was 14 she hurt her ankle which also ended her dancing career. That led Paige to acting. Paige graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in drama.
Paige's television career started in soaps as Dinah on The Guiding Light in 1987. A year later she moved on to All My Children playing Dixie's sister Lanie.
In 1989 Paige moved on to movies. She starred in Teenage Mutant Ninjas 2 and 3, The Feminine Touch (a/k/a The November Conspiracy) and Dead Funny.
Paige returned to television in 1994 starring in Winnetca Road, then worked with Shaun Cassidy's series American Gothic which lasted one season.
While working on American Gothic Paige started dating and later became engaged to co-star John Mese. The two worked together on the movie Dark Tides and Road to Park City before calling off the engagement in 2001.
In 2001 Paige once again found herself working with Shaun Cassidy, this time in his spy thriller The Agency. Paige played Terri Lowell for two seasons. During the second season Paige met Jason O'Mara who joined the cast as A. B. Stiles, a love interest for Terri.
On September 19, 2003 Jason and Paige were married in a ceremony in Old Saybrook, CT. They have one son named David ater Paige's father. They have residences in New York, Los Angeles and on the Connecticut shore.
After a short break Paige returned to work guest starring in FX's Rescue Me, opposite Denis Leary.
Most recently Paige has been working with Disney. She has made two movies for them Invincible and The Game Plan. She also starred in ABC's Big Shots in the 2007 season.
Paige will also star in the HBO movie Taking Chance with Kevin Bacon which should air on HBO in 2008. She has also signed on to play a friend of Sela Ward's character in the remake of The Stepfather.
